CrossFormed is a 15 week bootcamp for your soul.
CrossFormed is designed to build spiritual, physical and mental rhythms into daily life in order to experience the depth and fullness of life that God longs for us to experience! God’s word is the foundation for the adventure. We will read every word from Genesis to Revelation. We will practice spiritual disciplines and we will have some fun physical challenges and workouts along the way. In the process, we will be equipped to lead others on the adventure as well. The adventure is designed to be experienced in community, however it can also be done individually as well.

Meet the CrossFormed Team
Danny grew up in East Tennessee on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains, where time spent outdoors sparked a lifelong appreciation for God’s creation. Even more influential was growing up in a home where faith was lived out daily and love was unconditional. Those experiences shaped his heart early and drew him toward ministry as a teenager.
During high school, Danny became involved with Young Life, an experience that deepened his calling to walk alongside others in their faith. He continued serving as a volunteer leader through college and beyond, spending nine years mentoring and investing in young people before eventually joining Young Life staff. Over the next twenty years, Danny dedicated himself to ministry, helping others grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and discover purpose in their lives.
Matt Virnau brings a complementary path shaped by service, discipline, and performance. A special operations veteran with over a decade of military service, Matt founded Forged Human Performance to help individuals build strength, resilience, and confidence in every area of life. With more than 15 years of coaching experience and a master’s degree in Kinesiology and Performance Psychology, Matt combines real-world operational experience with science-based training methods.
Together, Danny and Matt share a mission: helping people grow stronger both spiritually and physically. Danny focuses on the ministry side—guiding individuals in faith, purpose, and personal transformation—while Matt leads the performance side, helping people develop the mental and physical resilience needed to meet life’s challenges. Their combined approach is designed to forge stronger individuals from the inside out.
